  • flour 2 cups all-purpose flour

How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat.Using either a handheld or an electric mixer, cream together the butter and sugar.
  2. Add in the egg and vanilla extract while mixing on low.Slowly add in the flour ½ cup at a time while mixing on low.
  3. Add in the salt and cornstarch.Fold in the chocolate chips with a plastic spatula or a spoon.Spoon the cookie dough onto the baking sheet and bake for 9-10 minutes.
  4. Let the cookies cool for 2 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
