  • all purpose flour 1 cup all purpose flour
  • caramel sauce caramel sauce, optional
  • dark brown sugar 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • egg 1 egg
  • m&m candies 35 rolo candies, halved
  • nutella 1/2 cup nutella (or other chocolate hazelnut spread)
  • salt 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • unsalted butter 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • vanilla extract 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour an 8 x 8 baking dish. In a bowl whisk together butter and brown sugar.
  2. Whisk in egg and vanilla.
  3. Mix in flour and salt.
  4. Spread 1/2 blondie batter (batter will be thick) into the bottom of prepared baking dish.
  5. Spread nutella over the batter. Scatter chopped candies over nutella. Spoon and spread remaining batter over the top.
  6. Bake in preheated oven for 25
  7. 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Slice.
  9. Drizzle with caramel sauce if desired, serve.
