  • canned black beans 15 ounce can black beans
  • canned pinto beans 15 ounce can pinto beans
  • canned tomato sauce 8 ounce can tomato sauce
  • canned tomatoes 14.5 ounce can stewed tomatoes
  • chicken broth 3 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • chili seasoning mix 1.25 ounce packet mild chili seasoning mix
  • elbow noodles 1 1/4 cup elbow noodles
  • ground beef 1 pound ground beef
  • unsalted butter 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • white onion 1/2 diced white onion

How to make it

  1. In a large dutch oven melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and beef and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Pour in the stewed tomatoes, pinto beans, tomato sauce, chili seasoning mix, black beans, noodles and broth. Cook on low/medium for 25 minutes.
