  • brown sugar 1 Tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
  • butter 1 cup butter
  • corn syrup 2 Tablespoons light corn syrup
  • dark chocolate bar 4 oz. semisweet dark chocolate chips or chocolate bar
  • graham crackers 2 cups finely-crushed graham crackers
  • unsweetened cocoa powder 4 Tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

How to make it

  1. Coat an 8" square baking dish with cooking spray or butter.In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add cocoa, brown sugar and corn syrup and stir. Bring to a boil, allowing it to boil for 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in the finely-crushed graham crackers.Line prepared baking dish with the mixture, pressing down firmly.For the chocolate topping, melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second increments, being careful to not overheat.
  4. Pour melted chocolate over the cookie base.
  5. Place in refrigerator to set, approx. 2 hours.
  6. Cut into squares. TIP: For easier cutting, bring to room temperature.
