  • butter 85g butter
  • cocoa 250g pack unsalted butter
  • condensed milk 50g cocoa
  • eggs 200g light condensed milk
  • golden brown sugar 3 large eggs
  • chocolate milk 300g golden caster sugar
  • self-raising flour 50g milk chocolate drops, plus extra, to scatter
  • sugar 200g self-raising flour
  • vanilla extract 85g caster sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

How to make it

  1. Butter and line a traybake or smallroasting tin, about 20 x 30cm.
  2. Heatoven to 180C/160C fan/gas
  3. Gentlymelt the butter in a large saucepan,cool for 5 mins, add sugar, vanillaand eggs, then beat until smooth witha wooden spoon. Stir in the flour,cocoa and ΒΌ tsp salt. Stir in the milk chocolate drops and bakefor 35 mins until risen all over and a skewercomes out with a few damp crumbs.For the top, gently heat 85g butterand 85g caster sugar together untilboth are melted. Stir in 200g lightcondensed milk and bring to a boil.Cool for 5 mins, then stir in 50g milkchocolate drops to melt.
  4. Spreadover the cold cake, scatter with morechocolate drops and cut into squares.
