  • all purpose flour 2 cups all purpose flour
  • baking soda 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • butter 1 cup butter, 2 sticks
  • butterscotch chips 2 cups butterscotch chips
  • butterscotch pudding 1 (3.9 oz) box instant butterscotch pudding
  • eggs 2 eggs
  • salt 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • sugar 1 cup sugar
  • vanilla extract 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to make it

  1. Heat oven to 350°. Cream butter and sugar together.
  2. Add eggs and mix well.
  3. Add vanilla and butterscotch pudding mix.
  4. Mix well. Sift flour, baking soda and salt together.
  5. Add to cookie dough and mix until just combined. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl and mix again.
  6. Add butterscotch chips and mix until combined.Chill cookie dough in the refrigerator about 1 hour, enough that it is pretty firm. Scoop by the tablespoon on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 10
  8. 12 minutes, or until very lightly browned on the edges, Cool on cookie sheet 2 minutes before transferring to a wire cooling rack.
