  • almond meal ½ cup almond meal
  • brown sugar 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
  • cinnamon 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • coconut sugar 2 Tablespoons coconut sugar
  • granny smith apples 3 granny smith apples [diced]
  • lemon juice 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • maple syrup ¼ cup maple syrup
  • nutmeg pinch of nutmeg
  • oat flour ½ cup oat flour
  • rolled oats ½ cup rolled oats
  • sea salt pinch of sea salt
  • tapioca flour 1-1/2 Tablespoons tapioca flour

How to make it

  1. Preheat the oven to 35
  2. Mix the filling ingredients (minus the apple) together in a large bowl. Stir until combined.
  3. Add the apples in and coat them in the mixture. Allow the apple to soak for 5-10 minutes stirring occasionally.In the mean time, mix together all of the topping ingredients in a large bowl.Spray or grease an 8" cast iron skillet.
  4. Pour in the filling.
  5. Add the crumble topping on top.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes or until the apples are soft. Enjoy!
