Easy 30 Minute Orange Rolls

  • egg 1 egg
  • flour 3½ cups flour
  • instant yeast 2 Tbsp. instant yeast
  • lemon juice 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • lemon zest zest of 1 lemon
  • milk 2 tsp. milk
  • orange zest zest from one large orange (about 1 Tbsp)
  • powdered sugar ½ cup powdered sugar
  • salt 1 tsp. salt
  • sugar 2 Tbsp. Truvia or ¼ cup sugar
  • unsalted butter 6 Tbsp. unsalted butter, softened
  • water 1¼ cup warm water

How to make it

  1. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray and set aside.In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water and sugar and yeast.
  2. Add in oil, salt, egg and flour and stir until dough forms.On a floured surface, roll dough out into a rectangle. In a small bowl, combine 6 Tbsp. butter, 3 Tbsp. Truvia or sugar, and zest from an orange.
  3. Spread evenly over rolled out dough.
  4. Roll into one long roll.
  5. Cut into about 1 to 1½ inch sections (you should get 12-14 rolls from this)
  6. Place each roll into the prepared muffin tin.
  7. Let rise for 15 minutes.Preheat oven to 375º F. In a small bowl, combine 1 Tbsp. butter, powdered sugar, milk, lemon zest and juice.
  8. Place rolls in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes, until lightly golden.
  9. Drizzle with lemon glaze and ENJOY!
