Ingredients

  • apricot preserves 1/4 cup apricot preserves
  • black pepper 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • brown sugar 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • egg 1 egg, beaten
  • garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ground venison 2 pounds lean ground beef, ground turkey or ground venison
  • ketchup 1/2 cup ketchup
  • milk 3/4 cup ketchup
  • onion 1 cup milk
  • ritz crackers 1/3 cup onion, finely chopped
  • salt 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
  • worcestershire sauce 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a 5x9 loaf pan with cooking spray and set aside. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, crackers, egg, milk, ½ cup ketchup, onion, salt and pepper.
  2. Mix together with your hands until thoroughly combined.
