  • butter 2 tablespoons butter
  • flour 2 to 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • milk 1-1/4 to 1-1/3 cups milk
  • pepper 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • salt 1/4 teaspoon salt

How to make it

  1. In a small skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
  2. Add butter and heat until melted.
  3. Add the flour, salt and pepper; cook and stir until blended. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  4. Serve with biscuits.
