  • cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • dried basil 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • egg 1 egg
  • flour 1 cup flour
  • garlic powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • olive oil 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • oregano 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • panko breadcrumbs 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • paprika 1 teaspoon paprika
  • salt 1 teaspoon salt
  • shrimp 1 1/2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • water 1 tablespoon water

How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.
  2. Add panko breadcrumbs, paprika, oregano, basil, powder, salt, and cayenne to a large plastic bag.
  3. Add flour to a separate large plastic bag. Beat egg and water in a bowl.
  4. Add shrimp to the bag of flour. Shake until well coated. Dip each shrimp in the egg mixture, and add to the bag of breadcrumbs. Shake until well coated.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over a large baking sheet.
  6. Place coated shrimp in a single layer on baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes (depending on how large your shrimp are), flipping half way.
  8. Serve with cocktail sauce for dipping.
