• black peppercorns 1/2 teaspoon whole black peppercorns
  • cinnamon stick 1/2 inch cinnamon stick (I used 3 shakes of ground cinnamon)
  • cumin seeds 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin seeds
  • ground coriander 4 1/2 teaspoons ground coriander
  • ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • red pepper flakes 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • turmeric 2 teaspoons turmeric
  • whole cardamom 1/2 teaspoon cardamom, whole,without pods (I used ground)
