How to make it

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Spread the asparagus spears and mushrooms across a baking sheet in a single layer.
  3. Drizzle with sesame oil, and roll asparagus across the pan so that all pieces are evenly coated. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the baking sheet in the oven and cook for 10-12 minutes (depending on the thickness of the spears), until tender when pierced with a fork.
  5. Transfer asparagus to a serving bowl and garnish with black and white sesame seeds.
  6. Serve immediately.
